The Matheran hill station is in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, located on the western ghats. It is a really beautiful and small hill station for you to visit and enjoy nature in all its glory. The hill station is approximately 90 km away from Mumbai and around 120 km away from Pune.

Camping in Matheran…yes, you read it right. The Matheran jungle is a popular place for camping and has the most surreal experiences for you. It has very pretty flora and fauna near the campsite. You will get to enjoy nature and spend some time in the arms of nature.

There is greenery everywhere, and camping will make the trip worth your while and a change of pace and scenery from your usual routine. Best for visiting in all seasons.     Different kinds of Chikkis and Chuda you will get to taste. Matheran is a beautiful place for a honeymoon couple, family and even bachelors too. If you had not visited this beautiful hill station do visit.

    In Matheran, you can tour the local markets as well. Matheran is famous for hand-made footwear, belt, Chappals, sandals and many leather items.

    At Matheran, you can always enjoy horse riding and hand rickshaw. Just beware of the monkeys, because they are without manners.

    We were 15 of us. We had booked many tents. The most convenient thing was that there were individual bathrooms and toilets just outside our tents. Staff was very helpful.had a wonderful experience

    We booked online and came from Baroda. We had ordered for Paneer Barbeque. Service was excellent. They arranged the Barbeque and it was IPL Finals, so they arranged projector. We enjoyed IPL final with barbeque. Unforgettable IPL final

    Nature Glamping is an appropriate name for this place. As we are retired marine officers from Mumbai. After coming to this place, we felt tranquilized as this place is full of Nature. We can hear bird singing, see blackberry on trees and many on the ground, just pick it up & have it.

    The four of us enjoyed in this camping. It was fun to stay here. They call it Swiss tents. It was very neat clean. Especially recommend for girls as it was so organised and safe.

    This is a great place to stay at in Matheran. good Vibes, delicious homely food and good experience. I stayed in the camps with my friends and it was an experience to remember. They also have live music at night making the vibe so beautiful followed by Midnight movie screenings and BBQ night! The staff is very friendly and cooperative and they also have wifi so you can also come and work here if you like!
