I must say that One need no Fancy items to enjoy--JUST GO CAMPING in this place. A very well organised CAMP area by local villagers at BHANDARDARA. We have coordinated t0 get this organised, we were a team of 10 reached at Bhandardara by 4:00 PM on Saturday. Enjoyed a lot had the best feeling

We sped a memorable experience in just one weekend. I suggest to visit this place with your Friends, family, Office groups extra..but yes a bigger group enjoys the most in here

We wen into out tents and had fun with Playing Cards, though none had much knowledge of that. In the night we were arranged with a bonfire and roasted barbecue with food, accompanied by our singing and dancing.

Tea, snacks in the evening, dinner and breakfast with tea were at its best. The family maintaing and running is cordial, efficient and pleasant. Campfire was entertaining. You can visit with friends, family, office group for an overnight picnic.

View of the lake and mountain is breathtaking. we were not hassled by mosquitoes as it was clean. Water in lake is clean and shallow so one can take bath in it.

Four of us, astronomy enthusiast decided to visit a place far away from city light pollution for skywatch on a new moon night. While we were looking for place, my friend came across this camping site. Although, it is run by local people, booking through website and local arrangement were absolutely professional.

Just before monsoon, this region has some peculiar trees that are host to a lot of the fireflies who twinkle in the night's darkness. the sight of the twinkling fireflies (Jugnu as they call it in hindi) is beautiful to watch, an experience to live and not easy to capture in camera. the drive through the ghats is also a pleasant 3-4 hour drive both from Mumbai or Pune. Weather just before monsoon is just the ideal time for a pre-monsoon trip as well. Camping stay is taken care of by roundtheworld who have arrange for decent accommodation and desi food. Overall a good weekend get away.

Drove till Bhandardhara . The guide picked and transported us to our camps Camps were pre set , clean Food - above expectation Staff is generally slow so align on timings for food/ departure /boat ride for smooth process

Recently went bhandardara lake camping along with my friends . it was amazing experience thanks to roundtheworld who managed tents for us at camp site. perfect location for a tent close to lake. i must appreciate how helpful roundtheworld & their team has been. during r camping as promised they delivered good tent and yummy food. if anyone planning to visit their contact them , they will arrange everything for u in economical changes.

Beautiful place with amazing view. There are amazing groups performing live at night in front of bonfire and amazing atmosphere. Food is okay if you are travelling you could carry few things to munch on that would be amazing. Watch Fireflies during firefly season. Don't Hop in your tent just wait until 4.30 to 5.30 am and witness beautiful star and shooting star is a bliss not to miss on
