The cool pleasant weather and with the help of some card games and the gr8 food and drinks, we could have a great time (ignoring the bad facilities). May be during monsoons this campsite will be better, and we may try it again.

The tables near our tent were very very dirty, and the common area of washroom was also not clean (there was a small beehive in the toilet - v scary). The hammocks were broken and too low.....The Hosts don't know how to manage a 25 ppl crowd or may be there were too many guests on the day before and they didnt get time to prepare enough for our stay. Campfire was only started after 12.00 midnight! Other than that camp site is great, beautiful view and good food .

They could have managed to maintain a small lawn at the campsite. We found it to be dry and not a good looking site at all. May be they depend only on monsoons for the maintaining the greenery. Dry grass and dead shrubs all over But other than that a good experience, enjoyed with friends and family

The hosts have not managed the campsite well, which was much below expectations. I think they dont have the basic management skills or man power to manage / maintain the campsite.

The house is beautifully located right by the river - try the kayaking! The rafting is outsourced and we had to wait a little but overall decently organised. The house was a bit messy (maybe because of the guests staying in them?) but the tents were well kept (they were under a metal shed!) Plenty of evening snacks - tikkas, tikkis, bhutta etc were provided.

We went kayaking and exploring the river with Shyam Sir, it was one of the most calmest moments I've experienced. We could see the rain approaching us from a distance, variety of birds by the river, kayaking in the rain and breathing in clean air.

The BBQ dinner was super yummy and our stay was very comfortable. Along with river rafting and walk to spot fireflies, this short trip was totally worth it! Thank you BRT! PS: Your mobile network wont reach you here, you can literally escape from the world here!

Went to BRT Kolad in August - Peak monsoon in Maharashtra. The weather was beautiful, nature in full bloom and greenery all around. We stayed in a tent on the property, slept to the soothing sound of the rainfall on the river. The owners, Shyam & Sarita were very hospitable and helpful.

Homely stay with very kind host- Food and barbaque were awesome- The location is I think the best part, with river in front, lush green mountain in back, it's just amazing- If you are planning to do Rafting,this is the best place, cause this is the location where the rafting ends, and it is very comfortable to just enter to your resort after the exhausting activity.- The host made all the arrangements in advance, and everything was hassle free.- I am fond of water sport, food and greenery and I can say this is the location where all expectations were met. And camping and a night walk in Forest in a full moon night were cherry on Cake...

I'm really thankful to this lively couple who instilled the belief that age is just a number. The Bon fire the lovely stories around it, the kayaking on the mist covered lake it was all woven to perfection by the them. Thank you round the world. You guys have indeed etched a memory for a lifetime for out otherwise monotonous life....

Well.. I'm already beginning to feel at a loss of words. Round the world with their breathtaking property makes an awesome memory for life set in the backdrop of a natural lake with lively chirping of birds to ease you into the space that you were longing for. I would like to make a special mention for the efforts of Ms Sarita, her attention to detail to ensure that we had a good time was commendable..

Great camping experience in the midst of nature by the riverside. It was lovely sitting around the campfire under the starry winter sky. The staff prepares a delicious barbeque dinner to satisfy hunger pangs post all the kayaking. Sham & Sarita are warm, friendly and caring.

Shyam and Sarita are wonderful hosts and excellent company. They're house is right on the water and they go out of their way to help you have the full experience of their place. There's opportunities to go kayaking, white water rafting, night trekking and camping in the wild. Our tent was right near the water and it was very peaceful

We stayed in BRT Kolad and it was one of the best experience we had in our life. Shyam uncle and Sarita aunty treated us like family. Great arrangement, food, camping overall a peaceful place. Thanks a ton.

The property is located right on the banks of river Kundalika and we had a huge stretch of water to go kayaking in. Shyam uncle and Sarita aunty are really affable and we had some great conversations with them! Their staff can rustle up some yummy snacks and we had an outstanding BBQ. The kids enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the Campfire, swimming in the river, climbing trees and playing with Joey and Chhotu, the cute dogs who also call the property their home. In the interest of a full disclaimer the wash rooms right next to the camp could have better, however the hosts had already made available the other washrooms for us so we were comfortable.

Big Red Tent Kolad is a drive in campground set in an acre of land right by the Kundalika River. Our campground is a rafting destination, set exactly where the rafting gets over on the Kundalika River. Enjoy an evening of BBQs, campfires, tent pitching and swimming in the river - all in the lap of nature!
